RocketDog Backup is an additional service available to RocketDog Web Hosting clients. RocketDog Backup includes weekly backups of your entire hosting account and RocketDog Restore where we will perform the account restore for you provided you are on a RocketDog Hosting account. 

What is RocketDog Backup?

RocketDog Backup is a simple service for those that aren’t inclined to create their own account backups. We will on a regular basis create an additional backup of your entire account and keep it safe and secure on another server. This service also includes RocketDog Restore, simply us restoring your website from a backup copy we have stored for you. RocketDog Backup Basic keeps the last 4 backups available and RocketDog Backup Premium keeps the last 14 backups available for restore.

Isn’t RocketDog responsible for keeping a backup anyhow?

Yes, we do keep full backups of all of our servers and would restore this backup in the unfortunate event of a natural disaster or total hardware failure. Normally this backup is kept in the event of a major event though and does not allow for the individual restore control you have over regular backups of individual accounts.

Can I just do it myself?

You sure can, if you are so inclined the Backup function within CPanel is available for use. We do not keep that from you nor will we treat you any different as a hosting client if you choose not to use the additional RocketDog Backup service. We simply offer this service for those that don’t have the time or inclination to keep regular backups of their accounts.

I’m paranoid and want more than weekly backups; can I get daily backups done?

You sure can, RocketDog Backup Premium is available for $50 per month and entails a full account backup every day of the year. Moving up to RocketDog Backup Premium also keeps the last 14 backups available for restore services.

Premium:            $600/yr with RocketDog Hosting
                                Daily Backups, Last 14 backups stored for restore.

At this time RocketDog Backup can only be offered to RocketDog clients with hosting packages.
