This exciting new service comes at a time when many websites are seeing hacking and infection instances increase exponentially and will help to decrease the chance that your website becomes one of the statistics.

RocketDog Maintenance alleviates your need to keep track of the various scripts used to run your website and the new security and upgrade patches released for those scripts. It doesn’t matter if it’s a big script such as a Content Management Systems (CMS) like Joomla or a small script like a simple guestbook. We will take over watching those scripts for new releases, security patches or other advisories and update your software for you as soon as an update is released.

Can I update my own scripts, why should I pay RocketDog to do it for me?

You sure can, there is no reason why you can’t do it yourself if you are so inclined. Does this mean I’m un-hackable?

Unfortunately the honest answer is no, but this does greatly decrease the chances your website can be hacked or infected. There are other factors that can lower your websites security level like the server setup your hosting provider has configured, other hosting accounts that are probably on the same server as yours or the release of passwords that allow access to the core files of your website. We do our best to help keep your websites security level as high as possible and any passwords or other important account information we have is secured and encrypted while in our possession.

How do you know what I have on my website?

When you sign up for RocketDog Maintenance we’ll ask that you provide us with a list of all the currently installed software and scripts and the sources you used to acquire those scripts. If you aren’t sure where you got them though we’ll do what we can to help locate the author’s website.

I or my website developer installed a new script, what do I do?

If a new piece of software or script is installed we’ll need you to let us know as soon as possible. Just send an email to our support including your name, website domain name, the name of the software or script and the website for the author of the software/script that was installed.
